Purchasing Assistant

Maria started in 2007 joining Jan and her team in accounts to assist with the work load of processing and completing the monthly invoices received for member accounts, also processing the new members joining the group.

After her first year due to changes in the office and a vacancy becoming available in the purchasing team, Maria transferred to work under the guidance of Rosie. She deals with member’s daily needs mainly for fencing gates troughs etc, landlines and mobiles, tyres batteries and parts, horticulture and forage.

Never knowing what the day will bring or who will call makes working at SF not only challenging and hectic but very enjoyable. With so many different needs for each member the years have flown by, also even with the growth of the group over her first few years Maria says having worked for big companies in previous employment and feeling just a number. It’s a pleasure to work in such a happy office of cheerful ladies and have a very appreciative group of members to assist with their farming needs.
