Richard & his wife Michelle run a single suckle herd of pedigree Sussex cattle in 110 acres of East Sussex. The farm is organic and beef is sold through a box scheme direct to the public. He and Michelle also run school visits to the farm; pupils of all ages come to learn where their food comes from and about the day to day running of a farm and the management of the countryside.
When he is not working on the farm, Richard enjoys the traditional country sports of hunting, shooting and fishing. He also has two children in their late teens, one currently studying at Bournemouth University and the other at Bexhill College.
